Donation of a bridge simulator from SEAJETS to the Navy Avademy

The Maritime Academy of the Navy Academy has acquired a state-of-the-art bridge simulator, an essential tool for the comprehensive education of students in the modern and demanding shipping environment.
The simulator is a donation of "GOLDENSTEP SHIPPING LTD" ("Seajets" group) and the opening of its operation took place on Tuesday 18th September in a new hall at the premises of Navy Academy in Aspropyrgos.

Seajet's Strategic Planning & Development Advisor Marios Ιliopoulos referred to the importance of solidarity and offerings from the private sector and stressed by the podium: "We are very proud as today's day is a sign of social sensitivity, and coincides with my birthday".

"This training meets the requirements of the most demanding training program and specifically the needs of an instructor and 10 students, a number that can be up to 30 students. We decided to make this donation so that education adapts to the complex modern shipping regime and protects against multi-faceted threats. Safety in shipping is -all and end all- and we think there should be no gap between theory and action," he concluded, referring to his company's multifaceted social offer:

"It is our duty to offer to society. Business is also a task, but unfortunately for many this is unknown. People who can contribute must take initiatives. Let it be this day-springboard for more actions of solidarity, offering and patriotism. "
