Marios Iliopoulos was awarded at Lloyd's List Greek Shipping Awards 2019 for WORLDCHAMPION JET as the 'Ship of the Year for 2019'

The  SEAJETS WORLDCHAMPION JET  cruise ship has been awarded the Lloyd's List prestigious international shipping prizes 2019. The awards were held on Friday 6 December 2019 at the Athenaeum InterContinental. The ceremony was attended by prominent personalities as well as representatives of both Greek and international maritime community.                 For the first time in the annals of this event, a high-speed passenger ship was awarded. The shipping company  Lloyd's List organized the awards and a team of 10 judges from different shipping sectors evaluated the candidates. Donation of a bridge simulator from SEAJETS to the Navy Avademy

The Maritime Academy of the Navy Academy has acquired a state-of-the-art bridge simulator, an essential tool for the comprehensive education of students in the modern and demanding shipping environment.  The simulator is a donation of "GOLDENSTEP SHIPPING LTD" ("Seajets" group) and the opening of its operation took place on Tuesday 18th September in a new hall at the premises of Navy Academy in Aspropyrgos. However, within our borders, Greek coastal navigation requires interventions directly on key issues to build on its background and pillars, as its dynamic presence is valuable and necessary for economic, political, social and strategic reasons.
